Over a decade of print experience with clients from fashion to function hints at an extensive skillset:
start with concepts and art direction, make talent, photography and media buys, implement digital color correction and management schemes,
design, layout and production of all project materials like catalogs, ads, brochures, tradeshow booths and graphics, signage and of course a
website-hosting package. Then establish file structure and digital asset management plans inlcuding the assimilation of old materials and planning
future archives, cross-platform and multi-purpose file needs, and co-ordinate all aspects of color, pre-press, printing and mailing if you need that
much help.
Most clients are further along and have a wealth of legacy material to draw from, so it is common to jump in mid-stream and lend a hand or put out a fire.

Vincent Motors, USA
The Vincent Black Shadow is reborn in the vision of Barney Li, with a
proper blend of history and modern tech. While the self-appointed
Vincent faithfull cry over a pint, the satisfied owner of a new Vincent
enjoys the road in ways only dreamed of before.
This sell sheet was used at the prototype 2 stage of development to help
bring the vision to life in metal and carbon fiber: powerful presentation
materials were part of communicating the soul and statistics when building
relationships with leading players in motorsport like Honda Motor Co.
and Roush Racing.
Photography and art direction at Glyn Jones; my contribution was digital
color correction and image compositing in Photoshop, layout design,
prep for print in Quark, and create multi-purposed file set for client.
Of course, I had to make a faux license plate at the drop of a hat during
photography, which began with playing "name that font" — Souvenir was
easy this time. I know: use sans serif for the smaller print here — but
Copperplate was so sharp. . .

Helped spur the van conversion industry with support of enthusiast events nationwide in the 70's. Art & graphics like lettering, pinstriping
and airbrush art applied to lifestyle vehicles such as bicycles, motorcycles, cars and vans.
Instrumental in advancing MX aftermarket graphics and seats in the early 90's, providing styling cues for the big four in Japan, and
support-sponsorhip of Outdoor Motocross World Championship title holders like Stefan Everts. |

Artglass: 
Glass sculpture, leaded, cast, slumped, painted, etched and carved architectural installations from doors and windows to complete glass walls.
Commercial and art signage including re-creation of lost techniques for period restorations. Co-founded Artglass Designs in Laguna Hills, CA in 1986,
and collaborated with Genesis Studios of Escondido through 1992 on commercial and residential artglass commissions.
